Michael Tucker
Learning Center
The Michael Tucker Learning Campus, located in Wasilla, Alaska, serves as the Knik Tribe's premier educational hub. This vibrant campus is home to three key institutions that are inspired by the vision of the late Michael Tucker; Knik Charter School, Benteh Early Learning Academy, and Benteh STEAM Academy. This campus fosters growth and success for learners of all ages within our community. Together, we strive to create an inclusive environment where education opens the doors to a brighter future.

Offering K-12 education accredited by the Mat-Su Borough School District, empowering students with a strong academic foundation. Knik also partners with the Benteh STEAM Academy to provide supplemental Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. Learn more here.
Providing hands-on STEAM education through after school activities, camps, and clubs designed to enrich learning for 6th-12th grade students throughout the Valley. Homeschool students are also encouraged to enroll and take advantage of the Academy’s engaging, innovative programs. Learn more here.

CHOICES also offers exciting Outdoor Education opportunities through its seasonal programs. The Summer Science Adventure program invites youth to explore Alaska’s great outdoors with activities like kayaking, camping, and fishing. CHOICES, empowers youth in the Mat-Su Valley to unlock their full potential. Through this program, students can access scholarships to explore a diverse range of learning experiences offered by over 200 local vendors.
